SCIRun can save networks to files. Network files have an extension of .net (in the past they also had .sr and .uin extensions).
To save a network, select item from the main window's menu. A file browser dialog prompts for the name and location of the network file.
If changes are made to an existing network, saves changes made to an existing net file.
Save an existing network under a new name using the menu item. A file browser dialog prompts for the new name of the network file. Subsequent uses of saves changes to the newly created file.
The position and size of open Viewer windows are saved to the network file.
Network files are Tool Command Language (TCL) scripts. These files can be edited, however, reasons for doing so are beyond the scope of this guide.
