Help is available from the following sources.

1.2.1 Documentation Distribution

SCIRun documentation is distributed separately from its source code. SCIRun's documentation distribution can be downloaded from SCIRun's software download page. See the SCIRun Installation Guide for instructions on downloading and installing the documentation distribution.

After installing the documentation, visit the index.html file located in the distribution's top level doc directory (i.e., <top of documentation distribution>/doc/index.html).

1.2.2 The Web

This and other documents related to SCIRun can be found online.

Visit the SCI web site for more information related to SCIRun and the SCI Institute.

1.2.3 Mailing Lists

The SCIRun users mail list is a forum for discussing SCIRun related issues. Users are given the opportunity to subscribe to this list when downloading SCIRun for the first time from the software download page. Users may also subscribe by sending mail to:

with the following command in the body of the message:

subscribe scirun-users

After subscribing, questions can be sent to scirun-users@sci.utah.edu.

The SCIRun developers list is a forum for network and module developers. To subscribe send mail to:

subscribe scirun-develop

After subscribing, questions can be sent to scirun-develop@sci.utah.edu.
