The following instructions install SCIRun's documentation in /usr/local/SCIRunDocs.1.24.2 (although they may be installed anywhere). Administrative privilages are required. Type:

sudo tar -x -z -f SCIRunDocs.1.24.2.tar.gz -C /usr/local
      

Open /usr/local/SCIRunDocs.1.24.2/doc/index.html with a web browser to view SCIRun's online documentation.
